"Fired colonel calls PowerPoint a crutch"

I agree with Col. Lawrence Sellin that PowerPoints are a crutch.  He states near the end of the passage that "...you would think that with a lot of detailed slides that you're making progress, when you are actually not."  This is very true because it doesn't really require you to think.  All that is happening is a bunch of words and pictures flying past your head, and you not comprehending any of it.  It would be better if someone actually spoke to you, which would require you to listen carefully.  I think it was very wrong that he was fired, just for his opinion on things.
